Welcome to our program!
The Bureau’s Barn is a high quality equestrian facility that provides personalized training programs for both riders as well as their equine counterparts. Our one of a kind specialized training plans for each horse and rider pair individually are a new and innovative approach to this industry. Whether students are participating in the helping hooves sessions, group or private competitive coaching or taking additional lessons with one of our other specialized coaches, we collectively approach the learning process as a unit. Every coach and horse here plays a large part in what makes up a fun, fountain of information to form a solid foundation for our students.
Lessons are available to anyone between the ages of 7 to 70+ years of age, we have a variety of trusted school horses for all levels and sizes of riders. We have spacious stalls, a private pasture available for day & overnight ship-ins. Horse owners looking to gain confidence, brush up on skills or trouble shoot problems occuring at home are always welcomed here.
Our carefully curated, full coverage & multi discipline “Learn To Ride Program” provides every student with in depth private & group sessions on:

With over 15 years of experience behind it, this program also provides optional clinic style theory sessions on all of the above topics and more! This means that all riders have the opportunity to learn all about industry-leading equine studies that directly apply to the science behind our “How & Why” as well as what is ethically required from every rider & horse owner. At The Bureau’s Barn we provide all of the necessary equipment for the school horse & rider (helmet included) except for full length pants & boots with a small heel.Please note that shorts & running shoes are not permitted due to safety concerns. Not to worry, we’re all only human & an in hand or theory lesson would be offered in lieu of that day’s riding lesson.Our Introductory Package is priced at a discounted rate of $200 (Taxes Included) for the first 4 sessions, preferably broken down by 1 session per week for the best results. 2024 Pricing
Platinum Member (Full-service boarding is $550+ HST Per month W/ lesson discount at $45 + HST Per Private session OR $ 35 + HST Per semiprivate session) – Call or email for more information on the perks and benefits of boarding right here at the school, including 10% off any birthday party package.
Gold Member (Only available to riders that have been with the school for one full year) $55 +HST Per private OR $45 Per Semiprivate) Full access to the lesson program, 10% off any birthday party packages as well as the opportunity for a half leasing.
A half lease is where you can book one lesson & one unsupervised visit with your chosen school horse per week. This extra booked session is entirely yours alone with your lease, you can ride, go for a hand walk, brush, bathe etc. This option is to encourage bonding time between the student and mount much like owning a horse without all the direct daily costs & responsibilities. The half lease option is also super convenient during show season preparations as you’re essentially booking in extra time to practice. Leasers OR beginners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, coach, Jr. Coach, or a fellow gold member- the buddy system is mandatory. (A half lease on any available school horse is $361.60 All Inclusive- Per Month).
Bronze Members have full access to the lesson program & are eligible for Gold Member perks once they have been riding regularly for a full year. (All new students for 2024 $65 + HST Per Private Lesson).
